Their bewilderment turns to amazement as the magician reaches into their wallet or phone case, retrieving the missing cards. But there’s more—the backs of the cards have transformed, one to a vibrant green and the other to a mesmerizing blue, signalling the beginning of the next act.
With the second act, the magician commands every card in the deck to mimic the first spectator’s chosen card. Every card in the deck follows suit, mirroring the identity of the chosen card. And with a simple gesture, the third act. The green-backed card is placed against the red deck, transforming every red card into a stunning green, a symphony of colour that defies explanation.
But the magic doesn’t end there. The fourth act sees every card in the deck transformed to match the second spectator’s chosen card, creating a breathtaking display of unity and synchronicity. And then the fifth act. By placing the blue-backed card against the red deck, the magician orchestrates another miraculous transformation, turning every red card into a mesmerizing blue.
Once the trick is over, the cards that were once in perfect arrangement, Ace to King and in complete suit order, are spread out and return to a mixed deck.
